I don't know if it was a pissing match between record labels or waht but some of Johnny's best solo work came from the 1985 Van Zant album It is a shame that they choose not to include any songs from the 1985 Van Zant cd on this collection.

"Last Of The Wild Ones" is a don't mess with me or else song. the song "It's You" could have been on a 38 Special album and "Yesterdays Gone" has special guest Steve Perry and John Cain of Journey.
